Returns & Exchanges

We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.

Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Part AC68NDDUZV04 is the lid latch for the Panasonic MC-CG973 canister — the catch that holds the dust compartment lid shut while the machine is running.

Canister lid latches get opened and closed at every bag change, and they are usually the first plastic part to give up. The catch wears round, or the small spring behind it tires, and the lid stops holding. At best it sits proud and lets air in around the seal, which takes the edge off suction; at worst it springs open during use and the compartment empties itself.

A lid that needs a push to stay down, or one that pops when the hose is tugged, is telling you the latch is finished. Fit the new one and check it clicks firmly and resists a light pull before running the machine.
