Most of the work an LW52 Flexy does week to week runs on a red pad. Part 184680081 holds two medium-abrasive pads, about 0.2 kg each, enough to dress both drive plates at once, and they fit the LW44 Flexy as well.
Medium is the grade that clears traffic soil and light scuffing from resilient hard floors without taking a sealed finish back with it. Green cuts harder and is kept for periodic deep cleans; white only buffs. Red is what a standing cleaning schedule is usually built around, which is why it is the pad most sites go through fastest.
Change them on results. An abrasive pad loses bite long before it looks worn, because residue fills and smooths the surface, so streaking or a floor that finishes duller than usual means the pair has done its work. Fitting one new pad against one tired one leaves the machine cleaning unevenly across its path.
Because the same pad serves both the LW52 Flexy and the LW44 Flexy, a site running the pair can hold one red-pad line rather than two. The pads seat on Lindhaus pad drivers, sold separately; store the spares flat, dry and clear of grit.
