This Lux central vacuum replacement hose switch and harness assembly (Part #WH) combines the handle on/off switch with its wiring harness in one unit. It controls power to the hose and electric power nozzle from the grip, so you can start and stop the central vacuum without returning to the wall inlet.
It fits Lux central vacuum hoses with model numbers FH8087, FH8088, FH8089 and FH8090. When the handle switch stops responding or the harness wiring fails, the power nozzle and motor can go intermittent or dead. Replacing the combined switch/harness assembly is a straightforward, economical repair compared with buying a whole new hose.
