This is the electric machine-end coupling for a Lux (Electrolux/Aerus) Super J canister hose. The coupling is the molded fitting that plugs the hose into the vacuum body, and because it is electric, it transfers power from the machine through the hose to the power nozzle for motorized carpet cleaning. A clean, tight coupling is essential for both airflow and reliable electrical contact.
