Returns & Exchanges

We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.

Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Part D012-1600 is a 13.5-inch brush roll for the Maytag M700, and the same roll also serves the Riccar R20P. The bristles agitate carpet fibers so the machine's airflow can lift the loosened dirt away.

Once bristles flatten, curl, or gather wound hair and thread, the roll stops gripping the pile properly, and cleaning performance drops off with it even though the machine still sounds and runs the same. A visible flattened track left behind after a pass is a dependable clue that the roller has reached the end of its useful life. A fresh roll restores the aggressive agitation the machine had when it was new, on both carpet and area rugs.

Fit the new roller into the cleaning head, check that it turns freely by hand before you close the machine back up, and clear any hair that has already wrapped at its ends. A roller that binds or drags as soon as it goes in is usually sitting slightly out of position rather than faulty, so take it back out and reseat it before assuming the part is at fault.
