Returns & Exchanges

We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.

Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Frieze and other deep, twisted-pile carpets defeat a lightweight upright by sealing against the nozzle. Part C012-1900 is the adapter that fixes that. It fits at the nozzle of the Riccar Super Lite and the matching Maytag and Simplicity lightweight uprights, raising the head to add clearance over high pile.

Without it the symptoms are unmistakable: the machine sticks to the carpet, becomes hard to push, and loses suction at the head because no air can get in around the nozzle. Forcing it makes matters worse for the carpet and for the brush roll both.

With the adapter fitted, air moves over the pile again and the vacuum glides instead of gripping. It comes off just as easily when you move back onto low-pile carpet or hard floors.
