This metal wye, or Y-fitting, brings a branch line into a central vacuum trunk run built from rigid metal pipe rather than PVC. One side of the Y carries a long-radius, 90-degree curve, so the branch enters the main line at a gentle angle instead of a hard perpendicular joint.

Because part TFM1195V is cataloged with the metal pipes and fittings line, it is meant for installations already running metal tubing rather than PVC; the two pipe materials use different fitting profiles and are not interchangeable at a joint.
