Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

A genuine Miele cable reel for the Blizzard CX1, part 10170105, complete with the 6.5-meter (21 ft) U.S.-specification power cord already wound and terminated. On the CX1, one tap of the foot pedal retracts the entire cord automatically — so when the rewind spring tires out, the cord stops retracting fully, or the conductors fray where the cord exits the reel, the whole reel assembly is replaced as a unit. That is by design: the cord, spring, and slip-ring contacts come pre-assembled and tested, which makes this a straightforward repair for a technician or a confident DIYer.

Part 10170105 supersedes earlier numbers 10170103 and 10170104 and is the standard (non-electric-hose) reel listed on the official parts diagram for the U.S. Blizzard CX1 SKCE0 platform. It suits straight-suction and turbo-brush machines such as the Blizzard CX1 Pure Suction PowerLine and Blizzard CX1 Turbo Team PowerLine (Tech Blue). Machines running an electric powerhead use the +E reel, part 10513963, instead.
