Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Restore one-touch cord rewind on a Miele Compact C2. Part 11545590 is the genuine Miele cable reel assembly for all S6000 and Compact C2 series canisters, complete with approximately 21 feet of power cable pre-wound on the reel. It replaces the entire rewind mechanism in one step — spring, slip-ring contacts and cord together — which is the only reliable repair once the original reel stops retracting or develops an intermittent power connection.

Fits these Miele canisters:

  • Compact C2 Electro+, HomeCare, Onyx, Quartz, Topaz and Jasper
  • S6000 series: S6270 Onyx, S6270 Quartz, S6270 Topaz, S6290 HomeCare, S6290 Jasper

This is the current factory revision and supersedes earlier part numbers 7544228 and 10838950 — order 11545590 for any S6/Compact C2 reel reference on an older diagram. Symptoms that call for it: the cord no longer winds back in, retracts only partway, or the vacuum loses power when the cord is jiggled (worn reel contacts).
