We offer free standard shipping on eligible orders of $100 or more within the 48 contiguous United States. Eligibility is calculated on the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before tax.

Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

When the cord on a Complete C3 stops snapping home — or the vacuum loses power as the cord flexes — the cord reel is the part to change, and Miele part 9730998 is the genuine assembly built for the job. It arrives complete: reel, rewind spring, contact rings, and a brand-new US power cord already wound, so installation is a straightforward swap with no cord transfer or spring re-tensioning.

This cable reel fits:

  • All Miele Complete C3 / S8000 series canisters on the SGFE0 chassis: Marin, Kona, Cat & Dog, Calima, Alize, Brilliant, HomeCare, PowerLine
  • S8 series: S8 Marin, S8 Alize, S8 Calima, S8 Cat & Dog, S8 Kona, S8390 models
  • SG-designation commercial variants

Exception: the S8990 UniQ uses a different reel assembly — contact us if you own a UniQ and we'll point you to the right number.

The reel is a live electrical component: its slip-ring contacts feed line voltage to the electronics every time the vacuum runs. That is exactly where bargain copies fail.
