    Miele part 11314142 is the electronic unit EDW S20203/81 — the main control board assembly for US-market Boost CX1 bagless canister vacuums. This PCB is the brain of the machine: it reads the rotary suction selector, regulates motor power across the four electronic speed settings, and manages the vacuum's protective shut-off behavior.

    Electronic-unit faults on the Boost CX1 typically show up as a vacuum that won't power on despite a good cord reel, suction stuck on one speed, or erratic on/off behavior. If the motor and cable reel test fine, this board is the usual culprit, and replacing it as a complete assembly is the repair Miele's own service network performs.
