Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

The Miele SES 118 electric hose, genuine part 5497860, is a direct-connect powered suction hose that carries both airflow and electrical current from the canister to a Miele electric power head. It is the correct replacement hose for mid-range Miele canisters that run an electric brushroll, supplying the power needed to drive the brush motor in Miele SEB-series powerbrushes.

The hose connects directly at the canister end, with no external pigtail cord, and mates with a Miele SET 210 or SET 220 internally-wired telescopic wand and a direct-connect electric power head. A fingertip control on the ergonomic handle lets you switch the powerbrush motor on and off, so you can stop the brushroll for bare floors like hardwood, tile and linoleum while continuing to vacuum.
