Built as a 5.7-inch, 2-fan unit, this replacement Ametek motor (Part #117073-37) runs on 120 volts with a horn discharge and fits some Rug Doctor machines. It restores the suction that lifts water and soil during extraction, taking the place of a worn or failed original.

A motor near the end of its life loses suction, runs intermittently, or makes unusual noises. A burning smell, progressive suction loss, excessive noise, or a motor that will not start are the usual signs. The correct replacement brings the machine back to normal.
