This replacement commutator housing and bearing bracket fits Ametek Lamb 706 and 757 series late bypass motors. It protects the commutator end of the motor and supports proper bearing alignment during operation.
A damaged housing exposes the motor's internals to dust and debris and can throw the bearing out of alignment. Left cracked, it lets grit reach the commutator and speeds up wear. A sound housing shields those internals and keeps the bearing seated.
