Motor exhaust coupling (SKU 507EX) for extending the exhaust line off a central vacuum power unit. Standard central vacuum pipe slips into the coupling, letting you route exhaust air where you want it, and the fitting works in either direction.
- Wide side: 2" inner diameter, 2-1/4" outer diameter
- Narrow side: 1-7/8" inner diameter, 2-1/8" outer diameter
- Orientation: reversible — usable in either direction
The PVC pipe used in central vacuum systems has a thinner wall than SCH 40, but SCH 40 works here too: 1.5" ID SCH 40 carries a 2" OD, so it seats in the coupling just like vacuum pipe. Because SCH 40 wall is roughly three times thicker, the exhaust path narrows slightly — in practice this causes no adverse effects. A practical, low-cost fitting for finishing the exhaust side of your central vac installation.
