This replacement motor gasket fits the Hoover 1100. It seals the joint between motor components so air travels the intended path instead of leaking around the motor.
Even a small leak from a hardened or cracked gasket bleeds off suction and lets the machine work harder for less pickup. A fresh gasket restores the airtight seal the motor needs for full suction. Gaskets harden with heat and age, so even a machine that looks intact can be losing pressure at a tired seal.
