Returns & Exchanges

We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.

Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Peripheral discharge, two stages, 5.7-inch frame, 120 volts: that is Ametek Lamb's 116448-00, which fits the Lamb 8582. The discharge arrangement determines how exhaust air leaves the motor and where it goes inside the housing, so it has to match what the machine was designed for.

As a drop-in for the original it restores the suction the equipment was rated at. Motors reach the end of their life gradually, with pull tailing off, noise building, a burning smell appearing, and eventually a unit that will not start.

Before ordering, read the number off your old motor and confirm both the peripheral discharge and the 120-volt rating, as a tangential motor of the same size will not sit correctly. Disconnect power first and follow the service manual for the reassembly sequence.
