Part 116596-29 is a three-stage Ametek Lamb motor in the 5.7-inch frame, wired for 36 volts. The 36V rating points to battery-powered equipment, meaning ride-on and walk-behind machines and other DC-supplied cleaning gear rather than anything that plugs into a wall.

Three stages means three fan sets in series, and that is what produces high water lift. It is the property you want where the machine has to pull through long hose runs or lift liquid, at some cost in raw airflow compared with a single-stage motor.

Order against the number on your existing motor and match all four of frame diameter, voltage, stage count and mounting. A motor that is right on three of the four will not do the job. Isolate the battery before starting, and have it fitted by someone experienced with the equipment.
