This genuine SEBO motor support seal, made by Domel, fits the X7 and X8 uprights. It seals the joint at the motor support so exhaust air follows its intended path rather than leaking around the motor.
A seal that hardens or tears lets air escape past the motor support, which bleeds off suction and can allow unfiltered air into the exhaust. Fitting a fresh Domel seal closes that leak and restores full airflow through the machine.
