Product details

The hood is the black upper shell of the Filter Queen AT1100 power nozzle — the curved top you see when the powerhead is on the floor. Part 4229002901, also catalogued as the upper nozzle housing, closes over the brush roll and belt and takes every knock the front of the nozzle meets: chair legs, baseboards, the underside of furniture.

Those knocks are what finish a hood. Cracks spread from the corners and screw points, clips snap where the shell latches to the base, and years of bumping leave the top scuffed pale. A split hood lets the nozzle flex and rattle in use, and once a mounting point breaks the shell never sits tight again.

Fitting the new hood returns the AT1100 to a rigid, quiet head — and a fresh black shell smartens up a power nozzle that has earned its scars.
