Electrolux Brush Roll - Pow...

$23.99

Product details

A replacement brush roll for the Electrolux Power Nozzle 5 in the disc-drive upright configuration, part 26-3405-01, listed for the Perfect power nozzle.

The brush roll does the actual carpet work; suction only lifts what the bristles have already loosened. As the fill wears down the roll stops reaching into the pile and the nozzle glides over the surface, leaving deep soil where it is. Because that happens over years rather than weeks, the drop in results usually gets blamed on the motor.

Look at the ends as well as the bristles. Hair and carpet thread wind into the bearing area and will make the roll turn stiffly or run off-center long before the fill is worn out. The new roll drops into the nozzle in place of the old one, and clearing the wraps every month or so will get more life out of it.
