This is the bag door latch with spring for the Perfect DM101 and DM102 and the Clean Obsessed CO101 and CO203 commercial uprights (Part #DM39). The latch holds the bag compartment door securely closed during operation, and the included spring keeps it under tension so it snaps shut and stays latched while you clean.
A broken latch or tired spring lets the bag door pop open during use, breaking the airflow seal and dropping suction. Replacing it restores a positive, self-closing latch and a tight bag chamber.
