The Sanyo SC-270 canister pipe holder, Type A, is a replacement retainer that keeps the wand pipe secured to the body of the Sanyo SC-270 canister vacuum. With the pipe clipped in place, the whole machine moves as one unit when you carry it between rooms or tuck it into a closet, instead of the wand swinging free or clattering to the floor.
These holders are usually the first plastic part to give out on a well-used canister vacuum. The clip flexes every time the wand is docked, and eventually it cracks or snaps off entirely. Fitting the correct replacement restores the original storage convenience in a few minutes.
Note the Type A designation when ordering, since Sanyo produced more than one retainer style for its canister vacuums. This version is made for the SC-270. If you are unsure which type your machine uses, we can help you identify it from a photo of the old part.
