Power foot for the Bissell 2284 cordless hand vacuum, part 1614205. It is the motorised floor head that clips onto the hand unit and turns it into a stick vacuum, with its own driven brush roll fed through the contacts in the joint.
Two things go wrong with it. The latch wears or cracks and the foot starts dropping off the hand unit mid-clean. Or the contacts foul with dust and hair, at which point the brush roll cuts in and out, or stops turning altogether while the suction carries on as normal.
It fits the 2284 and 2284W and the Pet Hair Eraser 2389, 2390, 2390A and 23903. Keep the latch and the contact faces clean, because that connection is the weak point on every machine built this way.
