Every control on an AIRBELT D1 Turbo reports to one small board, and 8102ER is that board sold on its own. SEBO draws it as item 15 of the AIRBELT D schematic, sitting in the control group rather than out with the motor: the power display 8038ER2 is item 17, the little spring behind the power button (8057) is item 18, and the combined power and suction knob 8202GS is item 19 immediately after it.
Knowing that layout narrows a diagnosis quickly. Turning the knob does not feed the motor directly; it signals this board, and the board decides whether the canister runs and how hard. Faults that end up here are electrical and inconsistent rather than mechanical — a machine that stays dead although the cord and the rewind unit 665613E test sound, one that drops out as it is towed over a threshold, or one that starts normally but then ignores the suction setting. On a suspect board a technician looks for darkened tracks, a connector pin that has been running hot, or a solder joint fractured by years of vibration. Wiring deserves to be ruled out first: internal cable set 8091AM carries a thermal cut-off and gives trouble more often than the electronics behind it.
