This genuine OEM ProTeam carbon brush set (part #100424) is a two-pack for the Ametek motor used in Sierra and related backpack vacuums. Carbon brushes carry current to the motor's spinning armature.
Carbon brushes wear down with normal use, and once they run short the motor sparks, runs intermittently, or loses suction. Replacing worn brushes early keeps the commutator clean and can extend the motor's life. A fresh set restores steady current and full motor power.
