We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Carbon brushes are the sacrificial contacts feeding current into a motor's armature, and on the Domel SCM1282 motor used across ProTeam's canister and backpack range they wear down predictably. Part 105164 supplies a set of two, and they should always be replaced as a pair, because a single new brush will not seat evenly against a worn commutator.
Worn brushes show up as a machine that cuts in and out, loses power under load, or throws visible sparking inside the motor housing.
The set fits the ProTeam MegaVac, Super QuarterVac, CoachVac and Super CoachVac backpacks, and the RunningVac and ProVac CN canisters. Catching brush wear early is what saves the commutator; run them down to the metal and the repair stops being a brush change and becomes a motor.
