This brush roll assembly fits the ProTeam ProGen 12 upright vacuum (Part #835044). The ProGen 12 is ProTeam's 12-inch commercial upright, and this assembled brush roll is the spinning agitator that drives its carpet-cleaning performance.
The brush roll combs and beats carpet fibers as it turns, loosening embedded grit and pet hair so the airflow can carry it into the bag. After steady commercial use the bristles wear flat and the end bearings tire, which dulls agitation and can leave streaks of uncollected debris.
