Product details
On a ProTeam 1200XP, the bottom plate forms the floor of the nozzle housing and sets how tightly the brush roll chamber seals against whatever surface the machine is running over. Part 107167 replaces that plate.
These uprights spend their working life crossing thresholds, floor grates, and doorway transitions in commercial settings, and the bottom plate takes that impact directly, shift after shift. Damage usually starts at one of the mounting bosses, the small raised points where screws hold the plate to the housing, and spreads outward from there as a hairline crack. Once open, that crack lets air bypass the nozzle opening entirely, so the machine loses pickup on carpet even while the motor runs at full power and the bag still has capacity left.
A plate that looks fine at a glance can still be leaking air if the crack runs along a seam rather than straight through open plastic, so run a fingertip around the full perimeter of the mounting edge rather than relying on eyesight alone to rule the plate out as the cause.
Fits the ProTeam 1200XP and ProForce 1200XP. With the old plate off, take the opportunity to clear any hair or thread wound around the ends of the brush roll, since it is far easier to reach with the plate out of the way than during regular cleaning.
