Product details
A ProForce upright that refuses to power on, even after the cord, plug, and switch have all checked out fine, usually has a wiring problem hiding between those components. Part 105754 is the harness that carries power from the switch through to the motor on these uprights.
Fits the ProTeam 1200XP, ProForce 1200XP HEPA, 1500XP, ProForce 1500XP HEPA, and 1500XP New Style.
Vibration and heat are what age wiring on an upright that runs for hours at a stretch. Insulation goes brittle at the points where the harness bends near the motor housing, and a conductor can crack inside its jacket without showing anything on the outside, which is why a machine can pass a visual check and still fail intermittently, working fine on the bench and then cutting out again once it is back on the job. Replacing the full harness clears every connector and length of wire at once instead of chasing one bad splice at a time, which matters on a machine that needs to be back in rotation the same day.
- Part: 105754
- Fits: ProTeam 1200XP, ProForce 1200XP HEPA, 1500XP, ProForce 1500XP HEPA, 1500XP New Style
- Function: carries power between the switch, cord, and motor
- Install: unplug the machine before removing the old harness, one connector at a time
Route the new harness along the same path the existing clips expect, since wire left loose inside the housing is what gets pinched the next time the shell is closed up. Confirm each connector seats with a firm click before running the machine, since a harness that looks installed but has not fully latched will produce the same no-power symptom that sent you looking for it in the first place.
