After a PVC pipe is cut for central vacuum tubing, part TPROOUDE2 shaves away the rough burr left on both the inside and outside edges. A clean edge slides fully into a fitting instead of catching on the lip a fresh cut leaves behind.
A burr left in place can snag debris moving through the line over time, and it keeps the pipe from seating all the way into a fitting, which weakens the glue joint. Running the tool over every cut end before gluing helps each joint seal completely on the first try.

Keep it in the same kit as your pipe cutter and PVC cement so deburring becomes a normal step of every cut, not an afterthought once a joint has already failed. A few twists of the tool against each cut end is normally enough to clear the burr on both sides, and running it over a fitting connection that will not seat all the way can rule a burr out as the cause before you look for a bigger obstruction further down the line.
