Returns & Exchanges

We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.

Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Bissell part 1606835 replaces the rear wheel found on the PowerForce Compact and CleanView Compact upright family, sold individually rather than as a matched pair.

A wheel this size supports the full weight of the machine as it crosses thresholds, cable runs and door saddles trip after trip around the house, and it tends to fail one of two ways over time: a crack opens across the hub from repeated impact against hard edges, or the tread wears down flat on one side because the vacuum is almost always pushed in the same direction across the same rooms. A flat-spotted wheel sets up a shudder felt through the handle with each rotation. A cracked one lets that corner of the housing drop and drag along the floor, leaving scuff marks on hard surfaces as the machine is pushed.

Because this listing is for a single wheel, buy two if both sides look worn, which happens more often than not since the pair rarely wears evenly given how most people steer and turn a machine day to day.

Before fitting the replacement, look closely at how the old wheel is retained on its axle and work it free the same way it went on rather than levering hard against the housing. Finish with a spin check to confirm the new wheel turns freely without catching, and with the machine already tipped over, clear any wrapped hair or thread off the axle area while it is easy to reach.
