Pressed thousands of times over a machine's life, the release button cap eventually wears smooth or cracks across its face. 2952HG is the light gray replacement, listed by SEBO for the FELIX Premium and the ET-1 power head, and used on swivel neck 2307HG.
Position 118 on the FELIX parts diagram identifies it, sitting directly after the release button and leaf spring at 117. A cap that has broken away leaves the button proud and unprotected, so grit finds its way into the mechanism and the action grows stiff. Fitting a new one restores a defined face for the thumb and a clean stop at the end of the press. Where the button underneath has also gone soft, the light gray button and spring assembly is 1737HG, and the complete light gray neck it lives in is 2307HG.
