Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Rexair packages this complete motor as a drop-in replacement for the single-speed Rainbow E Series and E2 canisters, serial range 9000000 through 9999999, and sells it under part R7816G.
A motor at the end of its life gives clear signals: power that fades under load, brushes throwing off heavy sparking, or the shaft seizing outright. Any of those means the whole assembly, not a single worn piece, is what restores the machine's original airflow and keeps the water-basin separation working the way it was designed to.
Confirm the serial number stamped on your canister actually falls in the 9000000-9999999 range before ordering, and confirm the machine is a single-speed unit, since this assembly is listed only for the single-speed E and E2. If the motor still spins and the only issue is worn carbon brushes, a brush-only service is the cheaper fix; save the full assembly swap for when the bearings, armature, or windings themselves have failed.
This is work inside the machine's electrical section, so unplug the canister before starting, note how the old assembly was wired so the new one goes in the same way, and test the motor before the housing gets closed back up.
