Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Part R14099 is the black electric hose receptacle for the Rexair-Rainbow E12 (E2 series) canister, the socket where the electric hose plugs in to draw power for the nozzle.
A receptacle with worn or corroded contacts makes an unreliable connection, so the power nozzle may run intermittently, flicker, or lose power entirely as the hose shifts. Because every amp for the nozzle motor passes through this one socket, a marginal contact here reads as a nozzle problem even when the nozzle itself is fine.

Seat the new receptacle fully and check that the hose's electric plug clicks in snugly. A tight, clean contact here is what stops the nozzle from arcing or losing power at a weak joint.
A receptacle that has arced usually shows dark scorch marks around the contacts, which is worth checking even if the nozzle is currently working, since a marginal connection tends to fail without warning rather than gradually. Wipe the mating plug clean before you reconnect it so grit is not what fails the new part.
