Product details

Part R13210 is the replacement switch for the Rainbow E2 electric hose. It sits in the hose handle and is what tells the power nozzle to run, so when it wears out the brush stops answering the handle even though the main machine is fine.

A tired hose switch announces itself in stages. First the power nozzle flickers on and off as you rock the switch or flex the handle, then you find yourself holding the switch at an angle to keep the brush turning, and finally it stops responding at all. Because the vacuum itself still pulls normally, owners often suspect the nozzle motor; the switch is the cheaper and far more common culprit.

Retailer listings show this same switch used across Rexair electric hoses for the SRX, PN3, PN-12 and PN-2E as well as the E2. Match it to your hose handle before ordering, and note the hose carries line voltage - unplug the machine before opening the handle.
