We offer free standard shipping on eligible orders of $100 or more within the 48 contiguous United States. Eligibility is calculated on the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before tax.

Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This genuine Riccar brush roll fits Riccar rug/floor clutch upright models 8925 and 8955 (Part #D012-0100). It is the spinning agitator in the cleaning head that combs and beats carpet to lift embedded dirt, dust, and pet hair into the suction airflow.

These clutch-equipped Riccar uprights let the user engage or disengage the brush roll for carpet versus bare-floor cleaning, so the brush roll sees regular start-and-stop wear. Over time the bristle rows flatten and the bearings wear, reducing carpet agitation. A fresh brush roll restores firm, even sweeping across the cleaning path.
