This genuine Royal 7200 brush roll assembly (Part #3720215600) is the complete rotating agitator for the Royal 7200 upright vacuum. The assembly includes the bristled brush roll along with its end caps, ready to drop into the cleaning head. As it spins, the bristles agitate carpet fibers to lift out trapped dirt, dust, and pet hair for the suction to collect.
Worn or flattened bristles, a bent dowel, or failed end bearings cause weak pickup, cleaning streaks, and added strain on the belt and motor. Installing a complete fresh assembly returns the vacuum to full carpet-cleaning strength.
