Keep your Royal/Dirt Devil RY800 upright cleaning at full strength with this direct replacement brush roll. The agitator sits in the cleaner head and spins against the carpet, its bristle rows knocking loose ground-in dirt and sweeping it into the airflow for collection.
A brush roll with worn or missing bristles, or end bearings that no longer turn freely, will leave carpet looking dull and can place extra load on the drive belt and motor. Fitting a fresh roll (Part #2990056000) restores the RY800's crisp agitation and quiet operation.
