The genuine SEBO Rubbing Plate in gray black serves the pile adjustment axle on the SEBO X series and SOFTCASE models. It gives the axle a smooth wear surface to ride against while the brush pile height is adjusted.
A worn plate lets the pile adjustment slip or bind, so the brush height drifts from its setting and no longer matches the floor surface. Replacing the plate restores clean axle movement and a brush height that stays where you set it.
