Part #A03837101 is an OEM Sanitaire rear wheel spring for the S5000 range of uprights. Mounted at the rear wheel, it maintains pressure on the axle assembly so the wheel holds its position and rolls without play.
When a spring weakens or breaks, the rear wheel starts to rattle, sit crooked, or slip off its mount, leaving the machine tilting and harder to push in a straight line. Replacing the worn spring brings back proper tension and a stable, level ride across carpet and bare floors.
