Shipping Information

We offer free standard shipping on eligible orders of $100 or more within the 48 contiguous United States. Eligibility is calculated on the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before tax.

Most in-stock orders using standard shipping are processed within 1-5 business days, and most arrive 2-11 business days after they are placed. Backordered and special-order items may take longer. Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

The Sanitaire SC889, part SC889, is the QuietClean version of the Tradition upright: a two-speed machine with dual-zip bag access, built for crews working the same floors every day.

Sanitaire publishes 145 CFM from the 7-amp motor through a 12-inch cleaning path, with a 6.1-quart Style ST bag behind it, and rates the machine at 69 dBA. That sound figure is where the QuietClean name comes from, and it is what makes the machine workable in a lobby, a library or a patient area during occupied hours rather than only after everyone has gone home. At 16.2 pounds it is light enough to carry up a flight of stairs single-handed, and the 50-foot pigtail cord covers a wide area from one outlet. The two speeds let an operator drop to the lower setting on delicate commercial carpet and bring it back up for high-traffic runners without changing machines.

Consumables are the ordinary Style ST bag and the Style RD belt, both widely stocked, so keeping an SC889 in daily service does not depend on tracking down a specialty part.
