Product details
Item 161 in the AUTOMATIC X7/X8 parts diagram, supplied ten to a bag under 01016ER, is the 4.0 x 16 mm Torx 20 fastener SEBO carries across a broad slice of its range.
Buying in tens is the practical choice for a screw this widely used, since one bag covers work on more than one machine and the same size turns up on uprights, canister-style bodies and the DISCO polisher alike. It also removes the temptation to refit a fastener whose recess has begun to round. A screw that no longer takes a clean T20 bite will strip on the next service and turn a five-minute job into a drilling exercise, and by then the head is usually sitting in a recess where a drill is awkward to hold square.
Nothing about the specification changes from the single-piece listing: 4.0 mm nominal diameter, 16 mm under the head, Torx 20 drive, described on SEBO's own sheet as an AMTEC screw. Keep a bag on the bench alongside the 4 x 20 mm version and the two lengths stay apart, because once they are mixed in a tray they are almost impossible to tell by eye.

The reason to keep a bag rather than order singles is simple arithmetic. Any one of the machines below carries several of these, and a rebuild that runs short of one fastener is stalled just as thoroughly as a rebuild missing a major part. Ten covers a full strip-down with spares left over.
Use a genuine T20 bit, not a substitute that merely sits in the socket. The Torx recess is the reason this screw survives repeated servicing, and a rounded one gives that advantage straight back.
Genuine SEBO fasteners from an authorized dealer. Ships in 2–5 business days.
