Product details
75053ER is the 120 volt vacuum motor SEBO supplies for the CE12 SOFTCASE upright — a complete motor unit, matched to this machine's airway rather than adapted to it. The same parts sheet lists a 120 V board at position 120 (75126ER), a reminder that the voltage on this number is not incidental.
Before it gets ordered, one symptom deserves a second look. A machine that runs, gets hot, cuts out, then works again after twenty minutes standing on the floor is far more often starving for air than dying. A vacuum motor is cooled by the air it moves, so anything that chokes the airway makes it run hot: a full bag (75175AM, position 20), a blocked air guide (75102ER, position 5), a clogged air separator (75097UL, position 158). Clear all three and the overheating usually goes with them. A motor that is genuinely finished sounds finished — a rising screech or a flat hum, carbon dust around the housing, and a permanent drop in pull that a fresh bag and clean filters do not bring back.
The drive side is the other thing to eliminate. This machine carries a torque sensor at position 124 (75110ER) and two toothed belts, 2923 at position 125 and 75098 at position 151, so behaviour that changes under load is not automatically a motor fault. And if the loss of suction is accompanied by new noise, look at the blower before the motor: the rotor at position 116 (75060HE) and its two housing halves, 75064GS and 75063GS, produce exactly that pairing when one of them is cracked.
