SEBO 30 ft. Power Cord for ...

Product details
Thirty feet of two-wire cable for the SEBO CE12 SOFTCASE, ordered as 75031. SEBO specifies it on the SOFTCASE CE12 parts sheet at position 15, giving the length as 9.25 m and the conductors as 2 x 17 AWG. Those figures are the machine's own specification rather than a close approximation, which is what separates a factory cord from a generic lead cut to roughly the right length.
Mains cable fails from the outside in, and nearly always at one of the two ends. The plug end takes the yanking. The machine end flexes against its strain relief — listed at position 170 as part 1030UL — until the copper inside work-hardens and breaks while the jacket over it still looks perfect. That is the classic intermittent: the vacuum cuts in and out when the cable is nudged with a foot, then behaves normally for another week.
One test is worth doing before ordering. If power drops only when the machine's neck is swung, while the cord itself lies still on the floor, the suspect is a different lead. The swivel neck carries its own two-wire wiring, drawn at position 113 as part 75117 and routed through the cable channel at position 112 (75066GS). Ruling that out first avoids fitting a perfectly sound cord to a fault living further down the machine.

- Conductor: two-wire, 2 x 17 AWG
- Diagram position: 15, SOFTCASE CE12 sheet

A cut or crushed cord is not something to patch with tape and keep using. Leave the fitting to someone competent with mains wiring, and check the cable hook at position 7 while the machine is apart, since a cord with nowhere to be stored is the reason most of them get damaged.
