Teal bodywork on a C1.1 or C2.1 comes with a teal rewind pedal, stocked on its own under SEBO number 6006TK.

Stand on it and the cord reel is released to wind the power cable away. Years of that treatment work a crack along the moulded hinge, and once the hinge has gone the pedal no longer travels far enough to free the reel — the cable then comes back grudgingly, in stages, or not at all. Because this is a piece of visible trim rather than something buried in the machine, a broken one also announces itself: teal plastic stress-whitens as it splits, leaving a pale line across the top of the body that is easy to spot before the fault becomes a nuisance.
