Product details
Servicing an AIRBELT K3 Premium starts and ends with this panel. 6403CMER is the pastel mint one, and it comes away by hand to give access to the exhaust filter, then clips back to hold that filter tight in its recess. There are no screws in the pack because there are none in the job.
Ten years of filter changes tell on the clip legs. They fatigue, they crack at the root, and one day the panel no longer stays put. Some owners tape it, which addresses the appearance and none of the physics — a panel that is not clamping the media allows exhaust air a path around the edge, and dust that should have been trapped ends up airborne again. If a K3 has been serviced faithfully and still leaves a bloom on dark furniture, the panel deserves examination before the filtration does.
Anyone with the cover off should look at what it has been holding. SEBO lists the exhaust filter as 6608ER on its own; 6696AM brings the pre-motor microfilter and the exhaust filter together, which is how the machine is normally serviced in one pass. Filter bags are 6629AM, boxed in eights with caps.
Colour is worth a second of attention before ordering. Mint sits close to several of the other pastel finishes in a photograph and looks nothing like them on the machine, so compare against your own bodywork rather than a screen.
