Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

It is a wear item by design. Every park and every recline loads the same small latch, and on a machine used daily that is thousands of cycles a year against a moulding the size of a thumb. Colour is worth checking before you order, because SEBO has run this catch in more than one finish and the dark grey is what matches a dark grey handle assembly.

A tired catch announces itself clearly enough. The handle sags forward on its own while you are trying to work, or it refuses to click into place when the machine is stood up, or it needs a definite shove before it will let go. Some people get used to a machine that has to be nudged; the fix is one small moulding rather than a whole new upright.
Fitting one is straightforward with the machine unplugged and laid on its back, but photograph the spring and the catch in place before anything comes out, because the spring only works one way round.
