The 8862AM crevice nozzle carries an integrated LED that lights the gap while you work, which turns a guess into a deliberate pass. SEBO lists it as item 12 in the Balance A1 parts diagram.
The narrow mouth is the working end. It concentrates the machine's airflow into a slot small enough to enter the seam between two cushions, the channel along a baseboard, the rail of a sliding door or a vehicle footwell, and the light means those places stop being a matter of feel. You can see when a corner is actually clean instead of assuming it. It is also the tool that finds what other tools push around: crumbs at the back of a drawer, grit collected along a stair riser, the line of dust that builds where carpet meets skirting.
