Power head shells crack at the corners and snap their retaining tabs long before anything mechanical inside them gives up, which is exactly why SEBO sells the cover as a separate part. Ordered as 52126CMAM, this is the pastel mint shell for the AUTOMATIC X7 Premium.
It sits over the drive belt, the gearing and the wiring loom in the head, and carries the machine's colour on the panel most likely to take a knock. A new one seals the head against grit again while the belt, roller and bearings stay untouched — the job is unclipping the damaged moulding and seating the replacement, not stripping the drive. Look for the symptoms before you order: a corner you can flex with a thumb, a seam that no longer closes flush, or a rattle over hard floors that goes quiet when you press down on the top of the head.
Worth knowing before the parcel arrives: what you receive is the moulding alone. The exhaust filter cover, the brush roller release button and its release ring 52033ER all stay with your machine and transfer onto the new shell, so keep every small part that comes off the old one rather than discarding it with the broken plastic. Anything that is cracked among them has its own part number and can be ordered alongside.
